2016 Jones Winery & Vineyard Fiano
A delightfully aromatic, refreshing wine with a crisp acid finish. This wine has notes of white peach and nutmeg and a lingering savouriness.
Made from our estate grown fruit, after handpicking the grapes were whole bunch crushed then pressed. The juice produced was then placed directly in older French oak barrels and the fermentation was carried out by natural yeast fermentation. The wine was aged in these barrels for 6 months with lees stirring periodically to enhance texture and complexity. Alc 13.3%, cellaring up to 4 years.
This wine is great with shellfish, crudités, poultry or goats cheese and a crisp mixed salad.
Drink on a summer’s day with friends and freshly chucked oysters.
